MIAMI (NOV. 7, 2023) — The Latin Recording Academy® announced performers and presenters for its Latin GRAMMY Premiere®, taking place on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from the Conference and Exhibition Centre (FIBES) in Sevilla (Andalucía), and streaming live across all of The Latin Academy platforms beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET / 9:30 a.m. PT and at 6:30 p.m. / 10:30 p.m. CET.
This long-standing event kicks off the Biggest Night in Latin Music® with unforgettable performances, heartfelt acceptance speeches and special moments. The winners in 46 of 56 Latin GRAMMY® categories will be awarded throughout the evening.
Hosted by Latin GRAMMY-nominated Brazilian singer Giulia Be and Spanish actor Miguel Ángel Muñoz, the Latin GRAMMY Premiere will kick off with performances by Majo Aguilar (Best Ranchero/Mariachi Album), Paula Arenas (Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Song), Mike Bahía (Best Contemporary Tropical Album), Vanesa Martín (Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album), Elena Rose (Songwriter of the Year), Thiaguinho (Best Samba/Pagode Album) and Julieta Venegas (Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop/Rock Song).
All five Best Flamenco Album nominees Israel Fernández, Diego Guerrero, Omar Montes, Niña Pastori and Juanfe Pérez will come together for a special and historic musical performance in homage to the genre on the International Day of Flamenco.
“The 24th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards officially begin with the Premiere ceremony, and we look forward to celebrating excellence in Spanish and Portuguese language recordings,” said Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy. “Our first international ceremony will showcase a wide range of artists across various genres, with a special musical performance featuring all five nominees in the Flamenco category performing together onstage.”
The musical performances during the Latin GRAMMY Premiere are produced by esteemed GRAMMY®-winning producers and composers. David Cabrera will serve as musical director, with Ismael Guijarro and Fabian Rincón as additional producers.
Joni Fernández Marmo and Ayleen Figueras will serve as executive producers of the ceremony.
The Latin GRAMMY Premiere is followed by the 24th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards® airing at 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. CT) on Univision, UniMás and Galavisión in the U.S., and at 10:30 p.m./22:30h CET on Radiotelevisión Española (RTVE) in Spain. It will also air on cable channel TNT at 19:30 (MEX) / 20:30 (PAN-COL) / 21:30 (VEN) / 22:30 (ARG/CHI). The ceremony will be aired in over 80 countries worldwide.
