LOS ANGELES (25 de septiembre del 2013) — La Academia Latina de la Grabación dio a conocer las nominaciones para la 14a. Entrega Anual del Latin GRAMMY^® hoy durante una conferencia de prensa presenciada por los medios de comunicación nacionales e internacionales en el Avalon en Hollywood, Calif. Este evento fue presentado en vivo en LatinGRAMMY.com (ya está disponible en "video on demand"), y fue conducido por el Presidente/CEO de La Academia Latina de la Grabación Gabriel Abaroa Jr., y la personalidad de la cadena Univision Chiquinquira "Chiqui" Delgado. Entre los artistas que leyeron las nominaciones esta mañana se encontraban la nueve-veces ganadora del GRAMMY^® Natalie Cole; la ganadora del Latin GRAMMY Aída Cuevas; la intérprete de bachata Leslie Grace; la cantautora Gaby Moreno; el dos-veces ganador del Latin GRAMMY el cantautor Draco Rosa; el cantautor Syntek; y la cinco-veces ganadora del Latin GRAMMY y la ganadora de un GRAMMY Julieta Venegas. En este año, el proceso de premiación del Latin GRAMMY registró más de 9,400 inscripciones en un período de elegibilidad de 12 meses (1 de julio 2012 – 30 de junio 2013), todo un nuevo record, y todos los miembros de La Academia Latina de la Grabación pudieron presentar sus propuestas para consideración a través de un proceso de inscripción en línea. Las votaciones del Latin GRAMMY para la ronda final de votación serán enviadas el 1 de octubre a los miembros votantes de la Academia Latina de la Grabación. Se deberán regresar  a la firma de auditoría Deloitte hasta el 22 de octubre, cuando serán tabuladas. Los resultados se revelarán la noche de la 14a. Entrega Anual Latin GRAMMY.  Por segunda vez, La Academia Latina de la Grabación y Spotify estarán trabajando en conjunto para ofrecer a los miembros votantes y todos los amantes de la música la oportunidad de escuchar la música nominada este año y se dará acceso a videos así como empaques.  Mas detalles serán anunciados en breve.

La 14a. Entrega Anual del Latin GRAMMY será difundida por radio a través de Univision Radio (la cadena oficial de radio en español) destacando momentos estelares a través de la red en www.latingrammy.com; así como www.univisionmusica.com, en donde estarán disponibles entrevistas, y videos de la conferencia en la que hoy se anuncian las nominaciones. Además, el telecast será distribuido internacionalmente a más de 100 países.

Un número limitado de boletos para la 14a. Entrega Anual del Latin GRAMMY estarán disponibles al público el 25 de septiembre a las 10 de la mañana PT y se podrán comprar en la taquilla del Mandalay Bay Events Center (877.632.7400; www.mandalaybay.com) o por Ticketmaster (www.ticketmaster.com).

MIAMI (25 de septiembre del 2013) —  La pintora y artista visual María Rivas ha sido designada la artista oficial de la 14a. Entrega Anual del Latin GRAMMY^®, anunció hoy La Academia Latina de la Grabación^®. La obra de Rivas será utilizada orgullosamente como la imagen oficial del evento de la música latina más importante del mundo y adornará la portada de las invitaciones de este año, las entradas para el espectáculo, el afiche, el programa y otras importantes aplicaciones. La obra encomendada fue develada hoy en Los Ángeles en una conferencia de prensa en la que se anunciaron los nominados de este año a los Latin GRAMMY^®. Rivas, que es oriunda de Venezuela y actualmente vive entre España y la Florida, es una afamada artista de la grabación, compositora, pintora y artista visual internacional. Desde temprana edad, mostró un gran talento en los soportes de pintura, artes plásticas, diseño gráfico y de modas, ilustración, y obras en óleo y en acrílico. Las capacidades refinadas de Rivas le han permitido crear un estilo artístico exclusivo al cual se refiere como "curvismo", que refleja su sujeto musical de una manera visual y flexible. La más reciente serie de Rivas titulada "American Jazz Greats" ("Los Grandes del Jazz Estadounidense") presenta interpretaciones en lienzo de algunos de los artistas de la música jazz más influyentes, tales como Chet Baker, Miles Davis y Nina Simone. Su obra se expone en galerías y en museos de todo el mundo, y forma parte de colecciones de aficionados privados de arte. La carrera musical de Rivas abarca más de 30 años y 10 álbumes, entre ellos, el sumamente popular y exitoso álbum Manduco (1992). Ha encabezado recitales en América Latina y del Norte, en Europa y en Asia, y también ha interpretado en el famoso Festival de Jazz de Montreux. The event will honor legends and icons, celebrating the region’s musical past, present and future

MIAMI (AUGUST 29, 2025) — On Wednesday, September 10th, The Latin Recording Academy®, in collaboration with la Junta de Andalucía, continues its calendar of events in the Andalusian community, which began in 2023, hosting Latin GRAMMY® Celebra: La Música de Andalucía in Sevilla.

The event, taking place at the Cartuja Center CITE, will pay tribute to some of Andalucía’s most influential artists, immortal voices and unique talents that embody the region’s vast musical heritage, from legends and icons to artists representing both the past, present and future. The event will showcase the genre diversity flourishing in Andalucía, from traditional flamenco to contemporary Latin music rhythms. With a journey spanning centuries of creativity and innovation, the event will recognize the region’s lasting influence on global music.

In addition to those already confirmed, David Bisbal, Manuel Carrasco, Vanesa Martín and India Martínez, the evening will also feature special performances by Aitana, Arde Bogotá, Arcángel, Camilo, Yerai Cortés, Estopa, Evaluna, Guillermo Furiase, Joaquina, Lagartija Nick, Pedro Antonio Lazaga, Leiva, Alejandro Lerner, Ara Malikian, Kiki Morente and Lucía Ruibal, among others, to be announced.

Macarena Moreno and the team from The Latin Recording Academy, led by Ayleen Figueras, oversee executive production; Carlos Narea will handle musical production under the direction of Pablo Cebrián.

MIAMI (AUGUST 19, 2025) — The Latin Recording Academy® announced its 2025 Leading Ladies of Entertainment honorees. The program, created nine years ago, honors and recognizes professional and socially conscious women in the arts and Latin entertainment fields who have made significant contributions and inspired future leaders.

This year’s honorees are:

• Maricarmen “Tuti” Bou, Vice President of Sony Music Entertainment in Puerto Rico

• Amarilys Germán, Entertainment Executive and Manager to Latin GRAMMY® and GRAMMY®-winning artist Juan Luis Guerra

• Paula Kaminsky, Managing Director at Global Talent Services US (GTS), a talent management agency

• Rozalén, Latin GRAMMY®-nominated singer/songwriter

“I am proud to present our Leading Ladies of Entertainment honorees, an exceptional group of women who have distinguished themselves not just through their successful careers but also through their work outside of the professional realm,” said Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy. “Our past honorees have helped grow our Mentorship Program, and we look forward to having this year’s class continue that legacy and empower future generations of young women.”

The private event to celebrate this year’s honorees will take place during Latin GRAMMY® Week in Las Vegas, with Amazon Music joining as presenting sponsor for the second consecutive year. Veteran executive Maricarmen “Tuti" Bou began her career in the music industry in 1988 with what was then CBS Records, which would later become Sony Music. At 26, she was named publicist for the record label, and since then, she has launched the careers of Latin GRAMMY® and GRAMMY®-nominated artists including Shakira, Elvis Crespo, Chayanne and Ricky Martin. Her ability to recognize emerging talent has led her to manage Latin GRAMMY® winners and GRAMMY® nominees Kany García and Pedro Capó during her more than 37 years at Sony Music.
