Sophia Abrahão, Marilina Bertoldi, Dvicio, Maia, Arianna Puello, And Jose Serebrier Will Present The First Latin GRAMMY Awards® Of The Night

LOS ANGELES (Nov. 10, 2016) — The Latin GRAMMY Premiere™ ceremony will be held at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on Nov. 17, during which approximately 85 percent of the categories will be awarded. Live streaming will begin at 1 p. m. PT/4 p.m. ET via and The 17th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards® will air live on the Univision Network from 8 – 11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central) from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

The ceremony will feature performances by current nominees Sophia Abrahão, Alex Anwandter, Niña Pastori and Nahuel Pennisi. The first Latin GRAMMY Awards® of the day will be presented by current nominees Sophia Abrahão, Marilina Bertoldi, Dvicio, Arianna Puello, and José Serebrier, along with Latin Recording Academy members Cruz and Maia.

Latin GRAMMY En Vivo will kick off with The Latin Recording Academy®'s 2016 Special Awards Presentation on Nov. 16 at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET. This year's honorees are El Consorcio (Mocedades), Eugenia León, Ricardo Montaner, Ednita Nazario, and Piero as recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award. Carlos Mejía Godoy, Nelson Motta, and Rafael Solano Sánchez will receive the Trustees Award. The honorees will be celebrated during a private ceremony at Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas as part of the weeklong 17th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards festivities.

Once again, will offer exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage of the 17th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards via Latin GRAMMY En Vivo. The live stream will include interviews from the red carpet, the Latin GRAMMY Premiere™ ceremony, backstage, and the media center beginning at 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET.

Preceding the Latin GRAMMY Awards telecast, Univision Network will present exclusive "Noche De Estrellas" ("Night Of The Stars") coverage of the celebrity arrivals direct from the Latin GRAMMY Awards red carpet starting at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central). "Noche De Estrellas" will feature live interviews and commentary on the stars and their fashion, and will provide viewers an intimate look at Latin music's most glamorous event while connecting fans with their favorite celebrities via social media.
