MIAMI (July 20, 2016) — Five-time Latin GRAMMY® and two-time GRAMMY® winner Marc Anthony will be honored as the 2016 Latin Recording Academy® Person of the Year on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

MIAMI, FL (12 de julio de 2016) — La Fundación Cultural Latin GRAMMY® otorgará un máximo de $700,000 en becas a estudiantes de música latina. Este año, la Beca Talento se presentará a tres receptores excepcionales: Juan P. Faundez, 19 años, de Chile, baterista; John Gallegos, 21 años, de Ecuador, trompetista; y David Suleiman, 24 años, de Puerto Rico, saxofonista tenor.

Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation to award up to $700,000 in scholarships to 43 international music students

MIAMI, Fla (July 12, 2016) — The Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation® will bestow up to $700,000 in scholarships to music students with an interest in Latin music. This year, the Gifted Scholarship Award will be presented to three exceptionally talented recipients: Juan P. Faundez, 19, from Chile, a drum player; John Gallegos, 21, from Ecuador, a trumpet player; and David Suleiman, 24, from Puerto Rico, a tenor saxophone player.
