Ayleen Figueras Joins The Latin Recording Academy® as Senior Vice President of Production

MIAMI (FEBRUARY 10, 2022) — The Latin Recording Academy® has appointed Ayleen Figueras as Senior Vice President of Production, effective immediately. In her new role, Figueras will oversee the production of all experiential Latin Academy events throughout the year, including Latin GRAMMY® Week. 

For more than two decades, Figueras has successfully developed and executed original content at Univision Communications, most recently as the Vice President and Executive Producer of Live Events. She has leveraged her expertise to visualize and ideate programming across multiple platforms and international media markets, including established productions like the 20th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards® and the 2021 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year™ Gala, among many others.

Figueras has worked with top music industry professionals in all capacities, and will help develop experiential live content along with new properties that will engage artists, members and audiences alike. She is an alumna of Florida International University and a member of the Board of Directors for the Miracle Mike Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides school supplies and toys to underprivileged children. 

In her new role, she will report directly to Abud.
